This disclaimer sets out the limits of the information and services provided through the Iterdex application and website (together, the “Service”), which are operated by Iterdex (“Iterdex”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
This disclaimer forms part of, and is to be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this disclaimer and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. Nature of the Service
The Service is a travel-planning tool. It presents suggested places and compiles them into a day-by-day itinerary for informational purposes only.
The Service is not a travel agent, tour operator, booking service, or package travel organiser. We do not sell flights, accommodation, transport, tours, or tickets, and we are not a party to any booking or other arrangement made by you. Use of the Service to plan a trip or to reach a provider does not render us responsible for that provider or that trip.
2. Accuracy of travel information
The places, opening hours, durations, travel times, prices, currency conversions, and other details presented through the Service are obtained from third-party sources and automated estimates. Such information may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, may change without notice, and may differ from the position on the ground.
Where a price is shown in a currency other than the provider’s own, the amount is converted using third-party exchange rates that may be out of date or inaccurate, and is provided as an estimate only. The price actually charged, and the exchange rate applied, are determined by the provider, your card issuer, or the payment processor at the time of the transaction, and may differ from the amount shown.
You should verify all material details, including opening hours, prices and any currency-converted amounts, availability, closures, booking requirements, and travel conditions, with official sources before relying on them. Suggestions and schedules provided through the Service do not constitute a guarantee of any kind.
3. Automated suggestions and estimates
Based on the places selected by you, our scheduling engine proposes places to visit, arranges them across the days of the trip, and estimates matters such as opening hours, durations, and travel times between stops.
These features are intended to assist planning and do not replace your own research and judgement. Any output is a suggestion only, does not constitute advice, and produces no decision having a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Automated suggestions and estimates may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuited to your particular circumstances, and may change without notice. You are responsible for checking them before acting on them (see sections 2 and 4).
4. Traveller responsibilities
You are responsible for your own travel decisions and for making adequate preparations. We do not verify, and are not responsible for, whether any trip is suitable, safe, lawful, or feasible for you. In particular, you are responsible for:
- passports, visas, and entry and exit requirements;
- travel, health, and cancellation insurance;
- vaccinations, health precautions, and fitness for the activities selected;
- local laws, customs, safety conditions, and official travel advisories; and
- the accessibility and suitability of any place or activity for your needs.
Nothing provided through the Service constitutes professional travel, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. Where such advice is required, you should consult a qualified professional and the relevant official authorities.
5. Third-party services and bookings
The Service relies on and links to third-party services, including mapping, place, and transit data providers and activity providers.
Where you follow a link to book, purchase, or use a third-party service, the resulting transaction is between you and that provider, on that provider’s terms and prices, and not with us. Any activity price shown in the Service is indicative only, may be out of date or inaccurate, and is not guaranteed; the price you actually pay is set by the provider at the time of booking. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, quality, or conduct, and any booking, payment, cancellation, or refund is governed by the relevant provider’s own terms.
Where we participate in an affiliate programme operated by an activity provider, activity links may carry a tracking reference, and we may receive a commission where a booking is made through them, at no additional cost to you. This does not affect the price you pay, and suggestions are not ordered or presented on the basis of any commission.
6. External links
Where the Service links to websites operated by third parties, such links are provided for convenience only. We do not monitor or endorse the content of those websites and accept no responsibility for it. Access to any external website is at your own risk and is subject to that website’s own terms and privacy practices. If you consider that a link leads to unlawful content, please notify us at support@iterdex.com and we will review it.
7. User and third-party content
Certain content available through the Service is created by other users, such as shared or published trips, or is supplied by third parties. Such content reflects the views of its author or provider and not our views, and we do not verify it. We are not responsible for such content but will review, and where appropriate remove, content reported to us under our Terms of Service. To report content, please email support@iterdex.com.
8. Availability
We endeavour to keep the Service available and accurate but do not warrant that the Service, or any information contained in it, will be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features may be changed or withdrawn, and access may be interrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Service or on any information, estimate, suggestion, itinerary, or third-party service accessed through it, including any travel disruption, missed booking, or cost incurred as a result.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, and nothing in it affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived. The full limitation of liability, and the applicable monetary cap, is set out in section 15 of our Terms of Service.
10. Changes to this disclaimer
We may amend this disclaimer from time to time. The “Last updated” date below indicates the current version, and material changes are dealt with as described in our Terms of Service.
